Local Missions
Feed the Flock - A ministry to the elderly, infirm, or disabled in our community which provides a home cooked meal every Monday, delivered to their home. There is no cost to the recipient. Volunteer cooks prepare the meals, and volunteer drivers deliver. Commitments are for one Monday a month to serve. Presently, we have 22 volunteers serving in this ministry. Those who cannot actively participate may help by donations designated to Feed the Flock. This ministry has served more than 7500 meals during its tenure. The number of meals served each week are fluid, depending upon recipient changes in needs or living arrangements. Anyone wishing to serve or who has knowledge of a need in the community, can contact us.
Monday Morning Men - This group of men meet together in the lobby of the CLC for some fellowship, prayer, and devotion. Following this, they set out around campuses taking care of any maintenance, moving, or cleaning that might be needed around the campus of the church.
